Visual identity for Midnight Music – a sound production studio run by 3 guys working out of France, Oslo and London.
The concept of the identity comes from the idea that darkness (midnight) and sound (music) fills the space it's within. Based on this, the visualisation of the logomark is inspired by the form of sound-dampening foam and sound waves that create an "M". The logotype follows in a similar bold style, while the name has been shortened to MDNGHT as, to the eye, the vertical stems of the characters replace the two Is.
The logomark is used as a larger element that is able to literally fill particular spaces on various applications such as the business card, letterhead, record cover and physical evironments.
